ADMISSION PROCESS
Admission
Criteria
We seek students with
a strong personal drive to become members of our school
community and a motivation to participate in all of its programs. A desirable
candidate for Admission demonstrates leadership characteristics.
Applications
Applicants to Pan American School are accepted
in grades nine through twelve. Applications
can be downloaded through the link below.

Presbyterian Pan American School admits students of any race, color, national
or ethnic origin, religion, or qualified handicap who are otherwise eligible
for admission as students, to all the rights, privileges, programs, and
activities generally accorded or made available at the school. It does
not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin,
religion, or handicap in administration of its educational policies, admission
policies, financial aid program, and athletic or other school administered
programs.
Campus Visit
We
encourage all applicants for admission to visit and tour the campus in
order to get to know us before making a decision.
Accreditation
The school is accredited by the
Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). It is authorized
under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.
English Proficiency
Non-native English speaking students are encouraged to
participate in the summer Intensive English Program. This five-week program
prepares students for the classes they will be taking during the school
year.
TUITION &
OTHER FEES
Presbyterian Pan American School strives
to keep the cost of tuition, room and board at an affordable cost. Gifts
from Presbyterian governing bodies, congregations, church members, and
foundations help to cover part of the operating costs. The fee for tuition,
room and board includes instruction, books, learning aids, room and meals
while school is in session during the academic year. Also included is
a student group accident insurance plan.

No Refund Policy
Tuition Deposit
All
applicants accepted for admission are required to pay a nonrefundable
tuition deposit equivalent to 15% of the tuition. This deposit reserves
a room for the applicant as well as a place in the entering class. It
is due upon receipt of the enrollment contract. The remaining balance
must be paid according to one of the payment plans.

Plans
Plan A:
Payment of the tuition balance plus any additional fees on the day of
registration.
Plan B: Payment of the tuition balance
and additional fees in two installments. The first installment must be
paid on the day of registration. The second installment is due at the
beginning of the second semester in January.
Plan C: Payment
of the tuition balance and additional fees in eight installments. First
installment is due upon registration. The remaining seven payment installments
are due on the 15th of each subsequent month through April.
Billing
Statements for tuition, and room and board,
as well as fees for appliance usage, prescriptions, etc. are sent to the
parents periodically for collection. Payment is due and payable in the
school's business office upon receipt of the statement. Interest is charged
on unpaid balances.
