Recent PPAS Graduate's Artwork Selected for National School Lunch Week Poster Campaign

One of our former student’s artwork was selected as the overall winner among all entries for middle and high school students in the National School Lunch Week (NSLW) “You Art What You Eat” art contest. Recent PPAS graduate, Marianeé Canales (Class of 2017) submitted her “Rock the Day” artwork in the contest last spring, and it became the inspiration for the three posters that are currently being delivered to EVERY middle and high school campus across Texas for NSLW, October 9-13, 2017! Marianeé’s artwork will also be displayed at the Texas State Capitol in March 2018. (Marianeé is currently continuing her studies at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.) What a great accomplishment – Congratulations, Marianeé!
