Remembering Linda J. Evans

We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Linda J. Evans on November 9, 2017. Linda faithfully served PPAS from 1997-2003 and then again from 2010-2014 as Director of Church Relations. Linda spread love to all those around her and truly embraced the mission of Pan Am. Please join us in praying for Linda’s family and for so many who knew and loved her.

"Once Upon a Teen" Clothing Market - Saturday, November 11, 2017

Our students are in for a treat on Saturday, November 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the SUB. Volunteers from several churches in the Dallas area are returning to campus for the 2nd annual "Once Upon a Teen" market event. All types of clothing (i.e., jeans, shirts, jackets, blazers, sweaters, shoes, etc.) will be available, in all sizes, for our students to select from. Don't miss this opportunity for fun and a chance to pick up some great "pre-loved" merchandise!

Fall Festival - October 20, 2017

A great time was had by all at the annual Fall Festival held on Friday, October 20, 2017. This is the students' biggest fundraiser of the year, and a great opportunity for the local community to come to campus for an evening of fun!

District One-Act Play Awards 10/27/17

The results are in from the District 3, Division 3 One Act Play competition held on Friday, October 27, in San Antonio. Several Pan Am students received awards, as follows: Best Actress - Paulina Longoria; All Star Cast - Tabitha Barakagwira, Ana Karen Santiago and Hannia Sanchez; All Star Crew - Aneida Flores and Arminda Ibarra; Honorable Mention All Star Cast - Beatriz Ortiz, Camila Arjona, and Jeniffer Salinas. Congratulations to these students!

Homecoming Pep Rally 10/18/17

Spirit was on full display at the Homecoming pep rally on October 18. The cheerleaders did an amazing job putting everything together, and performing for our students. The fall sports teams were recognized, and the juniors received bragging rights for winning the spirit competition.

Choir Visits New Braunfels Presbyterian Church - October 15, 2017

The Morris Chapel Choir helped lead worship at New Braunfels Presbyterian Church on Sunday, October 15. Thanks to Mr. Joe Garcia for directing the choir and to Miel Lee who served as the accompanist. We are also grateful to Nadine Karabaranga for giving the Minute for Mission and sharing her journey of faith. And thanks to Yae Won Choi for contributing two violin solos.
