Graduation - May 20, 2017

Senior Recognition Church Service - May 7, 2017

Our graduating seniors were recognized in a special church service on Sunday, May 7, at First Presbyterian Church, Kingsville and were treated to a wonderful fellowship lunch afterwards. We are so blessed and thankful to have faithful church congregations who support our students!

Prom - April 29, 2017

All of our students enjoyed a wonderful prom on Saturday, April 29. As is our tradition, the junior class planned and decorated for the dance in honor of the senior class. Seniors Juan Vazquez and Maylin Diaz were voted 2017 Prom King and Queen.

Regional Track Meet - April 29, 2017

PPAS track athletes participated in the south regional meet on Saturday in San Antonio, and five students qualified to compete in the TAPPS State meet in Waco on May 5-6! Senior Henriette Mbawmbaw will compete in the triple jump, 100m hurdles & 300m hurdles; senior Sara Mendoza will compete in 800m and 300m hurdles; and junior Miriam Jimenez will compete in 3200m and 1600m. These girls will be joined by junior Paulina Longoria for the mile relay. Sophomore Omar Ortiz will compete in the 300m hurdles.

Scholarship Fundraising Luncheon - 4/22/17

We are grateful to everyone who joined us for our scholarship fundraising luncheon held at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas on Saturday, April 22. All proceeds raised from this event benefit the school's general scholarship fund, which provides much needed financial support to over 90% of our students.

District Track Meet 4/19/17

Our track team had a great showing at the District meet on April 19 in San Antonio. The girls finished 2nd overall as a team, and the boys finished 4th. And, 5 of our girls and 8 boys qualified for the TAPPS Regional Meet next week in San Antonio, which is the largest group we have had in recent years.

Easter Service and Celebration 4/12/17

Students participated in a special Easter service in chapel on April 12, followed by the flowering of the cross and the traditional campus egg hunt. Dr. Dalglish gave a special message to students, the drama team shared a re-enactment of the death and resurrection of Jesus, and the choir presented two musical selections.

Morris Chapel Choir on the Road 04/09/17

The Morris Chapel Choir visited Canyon Lake Presbyterian Church April 8-9. The students enjoyed worshiping and singing with the church and also had fun in the Guadalupe River. We are grateful everyone at Canyon Lake who made our students feel so welcome.

Science Symposium 4/5/17

After a morning of TOEFL testing, students participated in a campus-wide Science Symposium in the afternoon on April 5. Instead of the traditional science fair with projects and experiments, this year students researched a wide variety of topics and presented their findings to the judges. Final results from the competition will be announced at a later date.

"Celebration '17" - March 24-25

As part of the weekend “Celebration ’17” event, each student is assigned to one of 10 “family” groups. Each group is led by other students who encourage the members of their group through fun, faith-based activities. It’s a great opportunity for students to grow in their faith and to strengthen the bonds of the Pan Am community.
