Celebrating Suk Jong Lee

Celebrating Suk Jong Lee – A Leader in Pastoral Care and Integrative Medicine!

We are excited to welcome Suk Jong Lee to our team. Her incredible journey uniquely blends pastoral care with integrative medicine. With over 665 hours of clinic internships, including significant time at the Austin VA Clinic, Suk Jong brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her practice.

Suk Jong Lee’s primary vocation has been in pastoral care. She served actively in the U.S. Army as a Chaplain from November 1992 to August 2015, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (CH (LTC)). Her deployment experiences in Haiti and Iraq highlight her dedication and commitment to providing spiritual and emotional support to those in need. Earlier in her career, she served as a Youth Director at the YWCA in Flushing, NY, where she guided and mentored young people.

Her educational background reflects her commitment to both spiritual and medical care, with a Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University, a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Queens College of City University of New York.

Ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament by the Presbyterian Church (USA), Suk Jong Lee continues to touch lives through her spiritual and medical expertise.

Join us in celebrating Suk Jong Lee’s incredible contributions for our academic year 2024-2025. Let's show our support for her remarkable dedication to service. Chaplain Lee will be leading our Sunday services and weekday chapel services twice a month. Feel free to address her as Chaplain Lee, as she prefers.
