Henriette qualified in all 5 events that she was entered – shot put, triple jump, 100m Hurdles and 300m Hurdles. Sara was the district Champion in 800m and 300m Hurdles. Our distance girls will be represented with Miriam in 3200m and 1600m. Aneida qualified in 300m Hurdles. The girls 4x400m relay team (Henriette, Sara, Paulina, and Miriam) qualified with a second fastest time of the day.
On the boys side, triple jumpers Oliver and Joshua qualified to represent Pan American at the Regional meet. The hurdle crew represented the school well with Omar Ortiz qualifying in 110MHurdles and Omar and Joshua qualifying in 300m Hurdles as well.
The 4x200m relay team of Jose, Joshua, Moise, and Christian, and the 4x400m relay team of Omar, Leonardo, Rogelio and Oliver earned the right to battle next week at the Regional meet to try to earn a spot to TAPPS State meet.
