"Splashing" into the 2019-2020 School Year

Each year, the Campus Ministry Council kicks off the school year with a community-bonding “SPLASH” event to help our students gets acquainted with each other in a fun setting. Opening Convocation Ceremony - 8/9/2019

In a special opening Convocation service on Friday, August 9 in the chapel, new students were presented with a bilingual Bible containing their native language in one column and English parallel to it. Students will use these Bibles throughout their years at Pan Am - in the classroom, in worship, and in their time of personal reflection. We were honored to have two special guests join us today – Mr. Bert Alvarez, who worked at Pan Am from 1983-1986, and Esteban Gonzalez, PPAS Class of 2019, who will be attending TAMUK in the fall. Both shared encouraging words and advice with our students, and we are grateful for their participation and support.

Prom 2019 - "Memories are Forever"

Who doesn't remember their high school prom? At Pan Am, we strive to expose our international study body to experiences, like pep rallies, homecoming, and the prom, that give them a taste of U.S. culture. However, unlike traditional public schools where the prom is primarily an event for juniors and seniors, our prom is open to students from all grade levels.

Each year, the junior class works hard months in advance to plan the event, as a tribute to the graduating seniors. This year, the "Memories are Forever" themed prom, held on Saturday, April 27, did not disappoint. Prom King and Queen, David Araujo and Allison Cabanzo, and their friends and classmates will certainly cherish the memories forever!
