Page 4 | www.ppas.org Board Chair’s Message: Getting Stronger with Time back and forth between the school and the God who has always provided. This annual report depicts the current story of our faithfulness in the midst of God’s faithfulness. We can be assured of God’s part as we read in Isaiah 40 that, [Those] who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. These words of encouragement are meant for students, parents, faculty, staff, Board members, and even donors! Our strength is in the Lord! We are called to mount up with wings like eagles. Thanks to webcams and modern technology we can watch an eagle’s nest high in the trees. We no longer miss out on seeing the mother caring for her young and preparing them to leave the nest for the life they were meant to live. Thanks to social media we can see pictures and read articles that depict students at Presbyterian Pan American School as they prepare to leave the PPAS nest for the life they were meant to live. Thanks to the marvelous faculty and staff at PPAS we can be assured that students are receiving the love, encouragement, knowledge and accountability that will allow them to soar, and therefore become leaders in whatever endeavor they pursue. Thanks to the individuals, congregations, and foundations that express their support for PPAS with financial gifts, the school is able to offer its services at an affordable and sustainable price. Thanks to the Board of Trustees, all of the above is kept in balance as they seek to guide what is a very complex set of dynamics into an even more complex world waiting our graduates. The period a student—or indeed even a faculty person—spends at PPAS is but a small portion of a century-plus lineage rich in faithfulness where God has provided time and time again. The history of Presbyterian Pan American School is basically the dynamic story of faithfulness going Board Chair’s Message: Getting Stronger with Time Board Chair Kim Warner, right, with President Dalglish at 2018 commencement.
